Check access data for DPD Web Connect

For your DPD Web Connect configuration you need the following data:

  • Delis ID

  • Password

You can get this data from your DPD depot. To receive your Delis ID, your depot must activate your account for the DPD Web Service. In order for this to be activated, you must fill out this form and send it to your DPD depot via email or fax. The depot will then request access to DPD Web Connect in Aschaffenburg. Activation will then take place the next day after your order. Please inform your DPD contact explicitly about this process.

Store access data for DPD Web Connect in the Shipcloud account

You can easily store your DPD contract data in your Shipcloud account and thus ship at your individually agreed rates and conditions with the carrier.

Based on the time of your registration at Shipcloud, we provide you below with further information on how to store your DPD (Web Connect) access data in the shipcloud WebUI.

Registration from August 2, 2022

How to store your contract data for DPD Web Connect

Log in to your Shipcloud account resp. to the Shipcloud WebUI and select the menu item "Carriers" in the navigation bar on the left.

Under "Active carriers", click on the blue contract icon on the left next to DPD to store the access data from your DPD (Web Connect) account in your Shipcloud configuration and, if necessary, to make further settings.

Click on the green "Save & activate" button on the right so that your changes are applied and your own business rates are applied when you are creating your shipping labels.

📌 Please note that previously saved data will be overwritten and you will ship using your own business rates after successful activation. The Shipcloud shipping business rates for DPD will then no longer be available to you.

Registration before August 2, 2022

How to store your contract data for DPD Web Connect

If you have registered with Shipcloud before August 2, 2022, please contact our support team first and we will activate your own configuration for DPD.

📌 Since we provide our customers with 2 different DPD connections (DPD Web Connect and DPD iloxx), please refer explicitly to the activation for DPD Web Connect in your request. You can find an overview of our DPD connections here.

After activation, you will receive a confirmation email from us and you will then find your configuration in your Shipcloud account under "Configurations" >> "Carriers" >> "DPD". Deposit and save your access data for DPD Web Connect there.

📌 Please note that once you have activated your own DPD configuration, you no longer have access to the Shipcloud business rates for DPD.

DPD Web Connect shipping with own contract in connection with Shipcloud

Shipping conditions and billing

After successful configuration, you automatically ship at your own DPD business rates. Your individual agreements will then apply with regard to, among other things:

  • your transport insurance,

  • the (regular) pick-up/drop-off at DPD Pickup Paketshops.

📌 Please note that you will then no longer have access to the Shipcloud business rates for DPD and Shipcloud will then no longer be able to show you any prices (for DPD), as our system does not have access to this part of your contract. You can view your shipping conditions in your DPD account or request them at your DPD depot.

You will be billed directly by DPD for your shipping labels. You will only receive a monthly invoice from Shipcloud for the use of our service (basic and transaction fees) and for the shipping labels created at Shipcloud's business rates with other carriers.

Important information on booking DPD Predict

If you transfer the additional service Predict to DPD via API request, but this service is not supported in the destination region of your shipment, this will lead to an error during label creation. To prevent this, you can set in the Shipcloud webUI that the Predict service should generally not be booked with the DPD web service if it is not available at the destination address. In this case, the corresponding shipment will be booked without Predict and the shipping label can be generated without any problems.

Provided you have registered with Shipcloud from August 02, 2022, log into the Shipcloud webUI and go to the menu item "Carriers" >> "DPD". Click on the "Additional services" tab and select "Discard Predict" in the drop-down menu under "Predict" and click on "Save & activate" so that your settings are applied.

If you have registered with Shipcloud before August 02, 2022, log into the Shipcloud webUI and go to the menu item "Configurations" >> "Carriers" >> DPD". At "Predict" select "Discard Predict" in the dropdown menu and click on "OK" so that your settings are saved.
