Integrated GLS shipping methods

You can only use GLS with your own contract in connection with shipcloud, which you can easily integrate from our Professional subscription. You can find out how this works here.

The following information applies to shipments with your own GLS contract from Germany. If you want to ship with your own GLS contract from a country outside Germany, this is possible for the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain. In this case, please contact sales@shipcloud.io.

GLS BusinessParcel

Standard product for national shipping with a standard delivery time of less than 24 hours within Germany.

GLS EuroBusinessParcel

Standard product for EU-wide shipping to all major markets with standard delivery times of 24 to 48 hours possible and more distant regions away from metropolitan areas from 72 to 96 hours.

GLS ExpressParcel*

Express service for fast national shipping with different time options (TimeDefiniteServices 8:00/9:00/10:00/12:00).

GLS EuroExpressParcel*

Express service for fast national shipping with different time options (TimeDefiniteServices 9:00/10:00/12:00).

GLS GlobalExpressParcel

Express service for worldwide shipping to major business centers in just a few days.

Service for return shipping from AT, BE, DE, DK, ES, FI, FR, IE, LU, PL, ES.

📌 Please note that the TimeDefiniteServices for GLS Express vary depending on the destination country and are only available for certain destinations. For shipping from Germany, you can use the Express services to the following countries: 08:00 - available only for national shipping within Germany. 09:00 - for national shipping within Germany, as well as to BE, LU and NL. 10:00 - for national shipping within Germany, as well as to AT, BE, LU, NL, CZ and UK. 12:00 - for national shipping within Germany, as well as to AT, CH, DK, LI, BE, LU, NL, CZ and UK.

**GLS Returns with shipcloud

With shipcloud you can easily generate your GLS return labels for international shipments yourself via plugin/API or shipcloud WebUI and add them as enclosures to your shipments. In addition, you can grant your customers access to our Return Portal, where they can request and print return labels on their own. Returns generated via the Return Portal can only be used within Germany.

📌 Please note that the stated transit times are standard transit times. However, time specifications are not a guarantee and may vary, depending on the destination of your shipment.
