You can use this carrier with your own contract starting from our Professional subscription.
In this article you will learn how to integrate your Asendia contract into shipcloud and thus connect your shipcloud account to the Asendia Shipping API V1 interface.

1. Check your Asendia access data
For your Asendia configuration you need the following credentials:
Asendia CRM ID
If you also want to use the additional service "Bonus Tracking" with the ePAQ Standard Priority service, you also need your access data for Asendia tracking:
Asendia tracking username
Asendia tracking password
The above data will be provided to you directly by Asendia. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact your Asendia Sales Manager directly.
2. Contact our support team and get your own shipcloud configuration activated for Asendia
Contact our support team via email at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can activate your own Asendia configuration.
3. Store your Asendia access data in your Asendia configuration in your shipcloud account
After our support team has activated your own Asendia configuration, you will find it in your shipcloud account under "Configurations" >> “Carriers" >> "Asendia". Enter and save your access data for Asendia (Shipping API V1) there.
After successful configuration, you will automatically ship at your own Asendia busness rates and your individually made agreements will then apply with regard to, among other things:
your transport insurance,
the (regular) pick-up / delivery at Asendia
You will be billed directly by Asendia for your Asendia shipping labels. You will only receive a monthly invoice from shipcloud for the use of our service (basic and transaction fees) as well as for your shipping labels created at shipcloud's business rates.
Asendia shipping with shipcloud
With your own Asendia contract, in connection with shipcloud, you can create your Asendia shipments via API request and via the shipcloud WebUI and ship worldwide from Germany using the shipping methods ePAQ Standard Economy and ePAQ Standard Priority with the additional bookable service "Bonus Tracking". For more information on the integrated Asendia services and package formats, please refer to our Asendia overview.
Good to know: If you want to ship from a country outside of Germany, this is technically possible. Since we first have to check the possibility of a connection and the available Asendia services depending on your sender country, please contact our sales team first via email at email@example.com.
Important information on creating shipments / a customer manifest (avis) to Asendia
All shipments that Asendia picks up at your location or that you deliver to the Asendia Hub in Rodgau yourself must be manifested electronically or registered with Asendia via an avis ("Customer Manifest to Asendia"). Upon pickup or delivery, you must also physically hand over the printed manifest document to Asendia along with your packages.

Good to know: in case your plug-in/integration does not have an interface to Asendia's manifest endpoint or you currently have not integrated it yet, you can alternatively manifest your Asendia shipments created with shipcloud via the Asendia web client. For setup and further questions, please contact your Asendia Sales Manager directly or contact Asendia via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
📌 If you transport your shipments to the destination country yourself and only then hand them over to Asendia, you will need to use a different manifest endpoint to create a "Customer Manifest to Carrier". We currently do not have this integrated, so you would have to use the Asendia Web Client in this case.
