Here you can find the most recent information about how to ship through our UPS business rates. Please note that our terms and conditions are only available for shipping from Germany.

Liability Limit

By shipping through our UPS rates the defined liability regulations of the carrier apply. In case of UPS, the liability for national and international shipping in the event of loss or damage to your shipment is a maximum of EUR 510.

Please be sure to observe the conditions of carriage of UPS. If these are not fulfilled, your liability claim will be canceled if necessary. More information on this topic can be found directly in the UPS Conditions of Carriage.

Express Shipping

If you ship via shipcloud conditions, UPS also offers express shipping. We can offer you attractive UPS Express conditions, which are especially interesting for international shipments.

We have integrated the following express services in shipcloud:

UPS Express (1 Day Early): International express shipping with delivery by 10:30 am the next business day within Germany or 12:00 am to most business addresses in Europe.

UPS Express 12:00: National Express shipping with delivery before 12:00 am on the next business day.

UPS Express Saver (1 Day): International express shipping with delivery by the end of the next business day.

Returns

Return labels can either be placed directly as supplements in your parcels or generated using our Return Portal. Billing for these labels is usage-based.

If you create the returns label as a supplement, you can also create returns for your international shipments to Germany.

By contrast, returns generated via the Return Portal can only be used within Germany.

For parcels from 25 kg within the EU and from 31.5 kg for all other countries, you must provide them with a special sticker to identify heavy parcels.

Furthermore, you can not create bulky shipments when using shipcloud terms. This option is only available to you if you have your own UPS business rates.

Supplements or additional fees

UPS reserves the right to charge additional fees for, e.g., the correction of addresses, manual sorting or island or outside area surcharges. This can also happen if the previously stated dimensions or the weight of the package do not match the actual dimensions.

shipcloud reserves the right to charge these surcharges to you.

Information regarding the parcel drop-off or collection

You can hand over your UPS packages to every UPS Access Point (parcel shop) nearby. You can also create a sporadic pickup order for the next day at the touch of a button. Please take note of the information on sporadic pickups listed in our Help Center.

For your express shipments, we recommend that you deliver the packages on the same day, but no later than 5 pm, at a UPS access point. Please inform yourself about when the parcel needs to be at UPS the latest so that it can be delivered the next business day. This information can be found here.
