If the UPS pickup you booked through Shipcloud did not occur, you have the option to arrange a new pickup.
The arrangement is done directly on the UPS website without the need to log in to UPS.
Please click on "Shipping" in the top menu bar, then select "Schedule a Collection" to go to the pickup page on the UPS website.
To book the pickup correctly, we have created a step-by-step guide for you.
Step-by-Step guide
Prior to scheduling the pickup, please check in the top right corner to make sure the correct country is selected for you.
If you select Germany, the shipment number for which you want to request the pickup must have a German sender address.
If you want to arrange a pickup from another country (only if the shipment number has a sender address from that country), click on “Select another country or territory” and then choose the appropriate country.
After that, please follow these steps:
In this field, please indicate whether you already have shipping labels and which tracking numbers are affected. Please enter at least one tracking* number in the field for control numbers to ensure the pickup is free of charge. You can enter up to a maximum of 3 tracking numbers for which a pickup can be scheduled.
*Note: A free pickup only applies to shipments booked under Shipcloud conditions. If the shipment was booked through your own UPS contract, fees may apply. If this is the case, you will see a notification.
In this field, please enter the pickup information. Enter the pickup address here. Please ensure that you correctly fill out all 7 required fields (marked with a *).
*Note: If you would like to receive email updates about your pickup, please check the box next to: “Email me updates for this collection.”
In the next step, please enter the exact number of packages to be picked up and the total weight of all packages*. You must also select the service for your packages. (Note: You may select more than one option.)
*Note: Please note that if the total number or total weight of the packages is not correct, UPS may not be able to take the packages due to space constraints.
Now you need to specify the pickup date and the pickup time window.
Note: The pickup time window must be at least 2 hours.
Tip: The larger the time window you specify, the higher the likelihood of a successful pickup.
In the next step, you can specify a preferred pickup location and/or any special instructions regarding the pickup to make it easier for the person picking up the item.
Before you finalize your pickup, please double-check all the details. On the right-hand side, you’ll find a summary of your details, as well as any applicable fees*. You can change your details at any time until you’ve finalized your pickup. If all the details are correct, you can book your pickup.
*If you booked your shipment through Shipcloud, there are no fees.
How can I track the status of my collection order?
On the UPS website under Schedule Collection you will find the option Collection Status Check.
2. When you enter the UPS Collection Request Number and the Postcode, click Check Status and the status* will be displayed.
