++ September 11, 2025: UPS International Processing Fee for all import shipments into the U.S.

An International Handling Fee of USD 2.50 per shipment (EUR 2.35 or the equivalent in local currency) will be charged on all import shipments into the United States from all international region.

++ August 11, 2025: UPS: What You Need to Know About New U.S. Tariff Changes ++

The U.S. has recently announced significant updates to its trade policy that could affect your international shipping:

  • Effective August 1, 2025, U.S. imports of semi-finished copper products (such as copper pipes, wires, rods, sheets, and tubes) and copper-intensive derivative products (such as pipe fittings, cables, connectors, and electrical components) from all countries will face a 50% tariff.

  • The de minimis exemption is being suspended globally, meaning all imports into the U.S., regardless of value, will be subject to duties and taxes starting August 29.

  • New trade deal with the EU: U.S. imports from the EU will face a 15% tariff, while U.S. exports to the EU will have 0% tariffs. New rates go into effect August 7.
